First Game

First game of the season was against St Ippolyts in a friendly at Norton. The rain held off despite the forecast and it was a winning opening to the season for Norton coming out on top inb three of the four rinks with an overall score of 87-48 in the home sides favour.

Open Weekend - Update

The open weekend was a great success, lots of visitors came to the club to try out bowls and 5 have taken up bowls and joined Norton Bowling Club. Thank to all club members who helped to make the weekend a great success.

Final League Position

The seasons now over and Norton finished 7th in the Stevenage and District Mixed League. This is an improvement of 1 league position on last season as well as scoring 75 points compared to last season.

The club's finals day was held on 13th September winners were as follows

• Three Woods - Chris Skinner
• Yardstick - Chris Parker
• Ladies Champion - Jean Billows
• Fisher Cup - Brian Kitchener
